It changes the hardware: wind-rated clips, sealed connectors and marine wire, which is standard on every Terra Ceia install.
Can you handle the ARC or HOA submission?

Do island installs last through the winter?

Yes, without penetrating it. Tile, metal and shingle roofs all get non-penetrating gutter-lip and under-eave mounts, keeping the wire off hot tile.
