HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY · CHRISTMAS LIGHT INSTALLATION

Christmas light installation in Tampa, FL

Tampa homes come tall, narrow and old: two-storey facades in Hyde Park and Palma Ceia, deep bungalow porches in Seminole Heights, live oaks leaning over half the front yard — and storefronts that have to look sharp by opening time.

  • High-reach installs for second storeys and steep gables — never from your ladder.
  • Oak and crape myrtle wrapping with soft ties that don't scar the bark.
  • Storefront, patio and office displays installed before you open.

WHAT TAMPA HOMEOWNERS ASK US FIRST

Height, trees and paperwork — the Tampa three

Hillsborough County gives you more variety per square mile than anywhere else we work, and each part of town asks for something different.

High-reach crews

Second storeys, steep gables and tall facades are routine for us — roughly 30 feet of reach, rigged and planned before install day instead of improvised on a rented ladder.

Century oaks

Hyde Park and Ballast Point oaks get wrapped with soft ties that don't bite into bark, and we keep wire off the roof and out of the gutter line.

Storefronts & restaurants

Hillsborough retail strips, patios and office frontages, installed before your doors open and maintained all season. Nobody wants a crew in the middle of a lunch rush.

HOA review handled

Westchase, New Tampa, Tampa Palms and Carrollwood communities review displays. We write the description so what you submit is what actually goes up.

WHY TAMPA IS DIFFERENT

Tall facades, old trees and narrow city lots

In Tampa a lighting job is usually a height problem before it's a lighting problem. Hyde Park and Palma Ceia homes are two storeys with steep gables and a porch; Seminole Heights is 1920s bungalows with a deep porch and a live oak hanging over the walk. Both need planned tie-off points, the right hardware and someone who works at height every week.

Older neighborhoods also mean older wood. We mount to gutters and eaves without putting screws into hundred-year-old fascia and window casings, and we tie trees with padding so nothing is scarred by January.

  • About 30 feet of reach, rigged and planned — not a ladder on your driveway.
  • Non-penetrating mounts on original wood trim and gutters.
  • Tree wraps with soft ties; wire kept off the roof and out of gutters.
  • Off-hours installs for businesses that can't lose a business day.

WHAT WE HANG IN TAMPA

From bungalow porches to full city displays

The Tampa look we build most is porch-first: garland along the railing, wreaths between the columns, warm white up the posts and across the fascia. From there, homeowners usually add the gable, the oak and the landscape.

  • Porch railing and column garland — the classic bungalow look.
  • Roofline, gable and fascia tracing on the front elevation.
  • Wreaths on street-facing windows and the front door.
  • Oak and crape myrtle branch wrapping with padded ties.
  • Storefront fascia lighting and patio string lights.
  • Driveway border and landscape accent lighting.

OTHER AREAS WE SERVE

GOOD TO KNOW

Tampa questions we answer every season

Our house is two storeys with a steep gable — can you still do the roofline?

Yes, that's most of what we do in Tampa. We work from the ground with proper rigging for the second storey, so you don't need a tall ladder and we don't borrow yours.

Can you light the big oak over the driveway?

Usually, yes. We wrap the main limbs with soft, padded ties and keep the wire out of the gutter line. A full century oak can't be wrapped end to end — a partial wrap on the branches that face the street is what actually reads well.

We're a storefront — can you install before we open?

Yes. Storefront, patio and office displays are installed off-hours, early morning or after close, so your doors stay open. The same schedule applies to service calls during December.

How early do Tampa dates fill up?

Late September through October is when the good November and early December dates go. If the display has to be up for a specific event, tell us the date and we'll work backwards from it.
